Ethically supervision should be monthly at 1.5 hours, although for some helping professions we can contract 1 hour. If you are in Managerial Supervision and not Clinical Supervision as well, maybe it would be a good idea to speak to your direct line manager to see how we can help you as best practice. We do advise to evaluate your workload from time to time to see if you need more or less supervision. Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy (2007).
Supervision with us will be bi-monthly or monthly, however if you need to cancel your appointment we need a minimum of 24 hours notice, although you can re-arrange bookings.
